Corporate responsibility goes beyond our commercial performance, it is an integral to our business and what we stand for. Windsor Telecom has come on board to support non-profit organisation, Community Matters Partnership Project (CMPP) to help disadvantaged young people in local areas.
The CMP Project is a collaboration of socially responsible, caring organisations working together to make a social and economic difference within the local community.
The employees of Windsor Telecom will aim to work with the youth to mentor, harness their skills and expertise that is desperately needed in the workplace, as well as have a little fun in fundraising events.
“I was surprised to know that Rushmoor has two multiple deprivation areas that are in the 20% most deprived in England.” said Sue Elliott, Managing Director of Windsor Telecom.
“There are low-wage working families in private rent visiting foodbanks because they can’t afford to feed themselves. We, at Windsor Telecom, will help work to raise money for the local community and donate our time and skills to tackle local issues. This is a powerful way for businesses to invest in the future of our local youth. As important as providing immediate and practical help, is ensuring that the aspirations of these young people are as high as they can be.”
