Windsor Telecom is growing and we’re developing products to make our customers’ lives easier and more enjoyable, especially when it comes to working with technology. To help with this, we’ve launched a Cloud telephony Chrome Extension to make calling a whole lot easier.

Head of Product Development, Matt Humphrey says, “The extension is just the first step on our journey to provide our customers with a fully integrated Cloud Telephony solution. We’ll shortly be releasing the extensions for Firefox and Edge.”

What can it do

You’ll be able to call any phone number directly from your Chrome browser, either by dialling it directly from the website or clicking on the phone number. Gone are the days of having to copy the number to a piece of paper or accidentally misdialling numbers – it couldn’t be easier.

Besides dialling numbers, you will also be able to view your recent call history so you’ll be able to make call backs with just one click.  It will also notify you within your browser when someone is calling you so you’ll have no reason to miss those important business calls.

Today’s callers have high expectations and are looking for a personalised customer experience the minute the phone is answered, Windsor’s Cloud Telephony Chrome Extension allows our customers to provide exactly that as the extension can also be integrated with Salesforce, HubSpot, Zoho and all other CRMs providing screen pop to allow agents to access customer information immediately as they answer the call.

How it works

  • Download the extension from Chrome store
  • Add your token to link your existing cloud telephony extension to the Chrome extension
  • When making or receiving calls, you’ll need a soft client or your desk phone already set up and working
  • Dial a number from the extension, or click to dial
