The Customer

Boom is one of Wales’ largest production groups. Established in 1994, they are a trusted, multi-genre company that produces over 400 hours of content annually for S4C, BBC, ITV and C5.

The Challenge

•  Existing network connections were limited the efficiency of business operations.
•  Separate legacy phone systems were stand alone and not integrated causing internal communication issues.
•  Integrate remote sites into a single unified network.

The Solution

•  Deployment of a fully managed MPLS network to link four core sites, with 500MB Fibre circuits with resilient 100MB backup circuits.
•  Resilient Managed Firewall solution hosted in the core MPLS network with SIP Trunks delivered over the MPLS network to replace the ISDN lines.
•  Avaya IP Office Telephony solution for 300 users delivered over multiple sites.
