Meet our April star of the month – Vanessa Browning
We love to celebrate and recognise our incredible team members that have gone above and beyond to help and support their customers and colleagues. For April, there was one person that stood out as our ‘Star of the Month’ – Vanessa. We’d like to tell you a little more about her, what gets her out of bed in the morning and her time spent at Windsor Telecom.
1. How long have you worked at Windsor Telecom?
I started my career with Windsor 7 years ago in September. At the time our office was based in Farnham with a much smaller team – how time flies!
2. What does your day-to-day look like?
Working in the Customer Services team makes my day-to-day completely varied with every day being different. Whether I’m helping our customers with service queries or supporting the teams internally to deliver exceptional service and solutions to our customers, there’s not much that goes on at Windsor that doesn’t pass through the Customer Service team at some point.
3. What do you like most about your job?
I love the culture here at Windsor, everyone is really down to earth and friendly so it makes working here a joy. I also really enjoy supporting the wider teams and learning about our continual product enhancements and new products we’re launching.
4. What career wisdom can you share with us?
For me, it’s that hard work and going above and beyond really does pay off.
5. What do you like to do on weekends?
Most of my time is taken up spending time with friends and family. I also like taking my two dogs for walks. I have a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel who’s 15 years old and an adorable little Cavapoochon who’s 2 years old.
6. Any fun facts we don’t know about you?
I have an ever-growing trainer collection, so I’m always looking out for new releases and what’s on trend.
7. If you could meet anyone in the world, dead or alive, who would it be and why?
It would have to be Freddie Flintoff, I just think he’s amazing!
8. What’s the one thing you can’t live without?
I definitely couldn’t go a day without a cup of tea!
9. What are your top 3 films?
I don’t really have a top 3, but if I had to choose it would be pretty much anything from Disney.
10. If you could have any superpower, what would it be?
It would have to be the ability to teleport. Who wouldn’t want to be instantly teleported to a sunny beach in the Maldives?
