1. Tell us a bit about your role at Windsor

I joined Windsor Telecom after working as a Student Accommodation Supervisor for 5 years. My day-to-day responsibilities in my role as Business Support Administrator can really vary, customer services does a bit of everything really! It could be processing cancellations, putting through connections, dealing with porting, change of ownerships, talking to customers and suppliers on the phone, the list goes on and on. Anything that requires admin, I’m usually involved in.

Fun fact, I didn’t actually study any of this at university, instead I studied dogs.

2. What do you like most about your job?

I love the culture here at Windsor Telecom, everybody is really welcoming and friendly and there isn’t one person who won’t help you out if you need it. I love my role as it varies from day to day, there’s never the same situation twice.

3. What career wisdom can you share with us?

Never give up! By giving up you will never know what’s just around the corner.

4. How do you think customer service roles are changing and evolving in recent years?

The ways in which we contact our customers are changing, and there’s a big move towards digital contact and social media. The spectrum of platforms that customer service teams are expected to cover is growing, including social media, email, phone, live web chat and more. Customers are expecting higher quality of customer service in recent years and have less tolerance for bad service and experiences.

5. What do you like to do in your spare time?

In my spare time you’ll usually find me with my dogs, out at my dancing classes, or curled up on the sofa binging on some reality TV. My guilty pleasure right now is The Real Housewives.

6. Any fun facts or hidden talents we don’t know about you?

I am a Ballroom and Latin dancer. I have spent many years competing and once won the European Ballroom Championship.

7. What’s the one thing you can’t live without?

My dogs! I need at least one cuddle daily to keep me going.

8. If you had to eat one meal for the rest of your life, what would it be?

It would have to be the classic beans on toast, you can’t go wrong with beans on toast. But, it has to be Heinz!

9. If you could have one superpower, what would it be?

Teleportation. I love to explore new places but HATE the travelling. Imagine – you could be at work and then just teleport over to Barbados for your lunch!

10. If you could meet any 3 people, dead or alive, who would it be and why?

Number one would have to be Robert De Niro –anything he stars in is guaranteed to be good. David Attenborough, so we could talk about animals and Greg Wallace, so we can discuss our favourite desserts together.
