Small Business numbers rosy

Small and medium-sized enterprises (SME) confidence hits an all-time high for Q3 2014.

Some 61% of SMEs responding to the Federation of Small Businesses (FSB) Small Business Index not only indicate a flattening of the tradition regional divide but forecast considerable growth over the coming year.

Predictions in the (now relatively short) run up to Christmas include job creation, an encouraging exports picture, shrinking inflationary pressures, as well as increasing turnover and profits across all small business sectors.

As this latest analysis shows, small business remains BIG business and a driving force in the UK economy further emphasising the UK’s position as the ‘€˜self-employment capital’€™ of Europe.
