Your business is only as good as your reputation, that’s a given. With review sites like Trip Advisor leading the way, the Internet has become awash with review sites and there’s no escaping it – people trust people. Being credible is about more than person-to-person recommendations though; online review sites are the ‘new wave’ word of mouth. Seriously, if you want long term success, you need to think about how your customers see you.
As consumers, we’re used to sharing reviews. Whether the latest apps in the app store, the most recent movie or documentary on your streaming service or reviews of your latest holiday, we like to share our opinions with the world.
Did you know that 90% of customers say buying decisions are influenced by online feedback? That’s a huge number and one that you should definitely consider when you put your marketing strategy together.
What is Trustpilot?
Trustpilot is an online review platform designed for businesses. It allows customers to publicly share their positive [or negative] reviews and because it’s neutral, holds businesses accountable for their actions. If a customer is unhappy with the product or service, Trustpilot gives them the voice. If they’re happy, they can add invaluable credibility to a business’ core offering.
Why do we love it?
At Windsor Telecom, ‘red carpet service’ is part and parcel of our mantra. One of the most common reasons our customers absolutely love us is because we go the extra mile to give them a personal, human experience – No customer of ours will ever be passed around the houses speaking to department upon department.
Because we work so hard to deliver an experience for our customers that’s second-to-none, we’re so grateful when we read all of the fantastic feedback we receive; it’s what fuels us.
