Welcome to the second edition of re-seller news in April. As you are now aware, we are about to release to you an upgrade of the re-seller portal that will enable you to provision almost the whole portfolio of intelligent services yourselves. The new platform will be known as NumberControl to tie in with your white label platform.

We have now decided to launch Number Control on 8th May following the Bank Holiday so that we can bring closer together the provision of this new platform with the move over of services from the old platform which has to be completed in two phases . The services already provisioned by you for your customers on the existing portal will be moving over to Number Control through-out the rest of May so that you have everything available and upgraded as soon as possible. During May this effectively means that you will see split screens where new services are provisioned and managed on the new look screens and old already provisioned services will be managed via the existing screens.

If prior or during the move of the old platform services you require any upgraddes or changes we will complete these for you so that you effectively have the same opportunity to provision intelligent components whether you are on the old or new portal.

Earlier this week you should have received more detail on the provisioning of services and how NumberControl will look with the new product icons.

With the launch of NumberControl we are taking the opportunity to add some new products and services so that you have a wider portfolio to offer your end customers, these include:

• Simultaneous Call Delivery - calls can be targeted to ring up to 7 land line number at the same time, the first person to pick up will receive the call
• Ratio Call Delivery - call can be targeted in various percentage ratios so for example 10% of calls to the first number 90% to the second number
• Missed Call Alerts - Notification by email every time you miss a call
• In and Outbound Call Record - The ability to record all calls either incoming or outgoing or both

Remember each of these intelligent components can be now provisioned individually, as a part of a tailor-made solution or added to an existing product such as MutliDivert Control. Each intelligent component carries its own rental so you can clearly identify the costs as you build products, remember that as you are building the products they carry no connection charges so there is a massive opportunity for sizeable margins to be made in this area.

The portal is clever enough to recognise that if you are adding intelligence to an existing product or a building a new product that equals one of the existing products such as Menu Control the pricing will be altered to that of Menu control

Remember that to make life a little easier we are also launching a special offer on new geographic numbers where for a three month period from 1 May to 31 July, any standard geographic number sold will carry a reduced rental of just £1 per month instead of £2.50 for the duration those numbers are in service.
