03 numbers news. UK Gears up for Children in Need 09

Thousands of fundraisers across the UK are gearing up for Children in Need which takes place later this month.
The popular annual event is happening on Friday 20th November and organisers are hoping to smash the £38 million raised last year.
People wanting to pledge a donation over the phone can call the charity's donation line: 0345 733 22 33.
Calls to 03 numbers cost the same as regular landline numbers - even from a mobile phone.
From next year more calls will be made from mobiles than landlines according to telecommunications regulator Ofcom and that's why
many UK charities are now using 03 numbers to encourage more donations, including Oxfam, Comic Relief and the RSPCA.
There's even a range of 03 numbers that are specifically for charities and public bodies: 030 phone numbers.
