Windsor Telecom is the vision of two partners, Neil Sherring and David Bennett. When BT/Cable & Wireless lost their duopoly it allowed other players to enter into the telecoms market. In 1997 David and Neil began to capitalise on this growing market through their respective companies Future Numbers Ltd and Number Solutions Ltd.
By 1999 they had built up two successful brands. Forming Windsor Telecom and integrating the 2 companies, whilst retaining the brands was a decision that they have never looked back on.
OFTEL (now OFCOM) granted Windsor Telecom its own Switchless Voice Resale Licence in 2001. This enabled Windsor to obtain its own number ranges, in the same way that BT do.
The company has grown rapidly and Windsor has been successful in winning new business, growing revenue streams rapidly and most importantly retaining loyal customers. Currently Windsor Telecom has a team of 20 highly skilled people with a wealth of experience in customer services, accounts, sales and marketing.
Windsor believe in letting customers have control of their telecoms with near real time access to a large portfolio of call traffic statistics and the ability to change the profile within seconds. A state-of-the-art network infrastructure and leading call management products ensure that Windsor is one of the leading inbound voice specialist in the UK.
The future is very promising and Windsor Telecom is now well placed with a good solid base of customers and ongoing revenues.
